Crew Training
In the past the Heart of Dixie Balloon club has held 'Crew Training Sessions' in which new crew members are taught by experinced pilots and crew the basic principals on how to crew for a hot-air balloon. We havn't done one in a while, but in the near future we hope to get this program up and running agian.
In this day long event crew are introduced to the basic elements of a balloon and how they are assembled. They are thought how and when to use the radio, and even a little map reading. New crew get the chance to learn form and meet more expeicned crew and pilots get a chance to widen their pool for experineced and willing crew members.
